Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data we process when you visit vettwise.com or get in touch with us, why we process it, how long we keep it, and what your rights are. We've kept it short because the site itself does very little.

Who we are

The controller of your personal data is AM Trade EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria and trading as Vettwise. You'll find our registration details on the company details page. For anything related to your data, email hello@vettwise.com.

What we process

• Emails you send us. Your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to write. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace.
• Booking a call. If you book a call, you enter your details (for example your name, email address and preferred time) with our booking provider, Cal.com, who processes them on our behalf.
• Server and CDN logs. When you load a page, our hosting and DNS provider, Cloudflare, automatically records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request.
• Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and gives us aggregate statistics only, such as page views and referring sites. It is not used to identify individual visitors.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking pixels. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page doesn't send your data to a font service. If you follow a link to a third-party site, such as our booking provider, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Why we process it, and our legal basis

• Replying to your enquiry and arranging a call: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Keeping the site running and secure (server and CDN logs): our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Basic, aggregate analytics: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep it

• Enquiry emails and booking details are kept as long as needed for the conversation and any business relationship that follows from it.
• Server and CDN logs are kept according to Cloudflare's default retention settings.

Who else sees it

We don't sell your data or share it for marketing. It is processed only by these service providers, on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting, DNS and analytics), Google Workspace (email) and Cal.com (call booking). Some of them may process data outside the European Union; where they do, they rely on their standard safeguards for international transfers.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@vettwise.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Bulgarian data protection authority, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
